Mrs Price has 25 years of experience in management of squint in children and adults. She also has expertise in the management of patients with double vision related to diabetes, thyroid eye disease and the management of children with ‘lazy eyes’ (amblyopia). She works closely with paediatric and general consultants on pre- op and post-op squint management. In addition she performs visual field assessments on patients with glaucoma and DVLA patients.
Her post as a specialist involves teaching undergraduate orthoptists.
She is also based at Albrighton Eye Centre where children with amblyopia are managed in conjunction with optometrists.
Mrs Price worked at University of Leicester and with Professor Fielder on developing The Forced Choice Preferential a looking test used on testing vision in babies. This led to various publications in British Orthoptic Journal and British Journal of Ophthalmology.
