Mr Peter Hull

Profile

Mr Hull went to medical school at the University of Birmingham, and undertook his orthopaedic training in the West Midlands. Following this he spent a year at the world famous Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto - the busiest trauma centre in Canada. Here Mr Hull perfected his skills in complex trauma surgery including pelvic and acetabular (hip socket) surgery. He also obtained further training in knee and hip replacement surgery.

Mr Hull's clinical practice at the Nuffield is identical to that at Addenbrooke’s, namely treating adults with hip or knee problems or patients who have broken bones or sustained a sporting injury.

For hip replacements he uses the cemented ‘Exeter’ hip, this has excellent long term results, and is currently accepted as one of the best hip replacements available.

For knee replacements, Mr Hull also uses a well proven cemented implant.

Personal interests

Mr Hull lives his family in a small village in south Cambridgeshire and loves quiet village life. His young son keeps him busy when he is not working, demanding to play football and ‘bundle’ in the garden – something they both love.

As a family they like country walks as well as entertaining. Their weekends often involve having friends over for dinner and a good glass of wine or 2!

Mr Hull enjoys keeping fit, and regularly rides his mountain bike and plays squash. His family skis most winters.
