Mr Nazzar Tellisi

Mr Tellisi took up the post as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, as Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Leeds in January 2011.

He has gained a great deal of skill and experience in the management and surgical treatment of trauma and orthopaedic conditions during his career to date. He received advanced training at Hospital for special surgery - USA.

As a clinical fellow within the foot and ankle service at Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, his training was focused on adult reconstructive foot and ankle surgery with exposure to paediatrics foot problems and complex foot and ankle trauma. Mr Tellisi spent an additional year in the limb lengthening and reconstruction service.

Mr Tellisi's training covered adult reconstructive surgery, lower limb deformities, foot and ankle surgery with substantial exposure to ankle fusions and Charcot arthropathies utilising Ilizarov and Taylor spatial frames.
