Mr Choksey trained as a Neurosurgeon in Great Britain, with posts at Cambridge, The Royal Free and Charing Cross Hospitals, The National Hospital, The Middlesex Hospital and the Newcastle General Hospital.
Since 1992 he has worked as an independent Consultant Neurosurgeon. He has performed over 2,000 intracranial procedures, including clipping of 400 aneurysms. He has operated on over 3,000 lumbar spines, including 600 spinal fusions and over 1,000 cervical spines (necks).
Mr Choksey has a very wide experience of all aspects of clinical neurosurgery. In addition, he acts as an examiner for The Royal College of Surgeons in Surgical Neurology and has done so for ten years. He is a recognised expert witness, preparing thoughts for both the Plaintiff and the Defendant.
Mr Choksey's management experience includes acting as Clinical Director for Neurosurgery.
