Mr James Ramos

LMS, MD, PhD, FRCS (Tr&, Orth)


Mr Ramos is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in foot and ankle surgery. He trained in the Wessex Region and obtained registration as a specialist in Trauma and Orthopaedics. He furthered his training in Spain, Switzerland and the USA before taking up a post as a Consultant at Birmingham Heartlands and Solihull Hospitals in 1999, where he is the lead Consultant for a very successful foot and ankle service in the NHS.

In the private sector Mr Ramos sees patients at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital and is Director of the Foot and Ankle Practice.

Mr Ramos specialises in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, including dance and sporting injuries. He carries out surgery to foot, ankle and knee conditions including arthroscopic surgery, knee, ankle and big toe joint replacement surgery.
