Mr Hafiz Javaid Iqbal is passionate about providing bespoke service to every patient. This will be evident on your first consultation with him as he will take a detailed history, perform a thorough clinical examination and discuss a management plan.
Mr Iqbal completed his Trauma and Orthopaedic training from NHS Northwest, Mersey Deanery, leading to CCT, and specialist fellowship training in Hip and Knee surgery from Wrightington Hospital, University Hospital Birmingham, Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Birmingham and University Hospital Wales, Cardiff.
Mr Iqbal is a consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon at Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He has presented nationally and internationally on a number of topics related to trauma, hip and knee surgery. His specialist interests include total hip replacement, Total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, Sports knee surgery including Meniscal repair and other arthroscopic knee surgery, Knee ligaments surgery including ACL, A.L.L reconstruction, Patella stabilisation surgery including MPFL reconstruction, tibial tuberosity realignment etc. Mr Iqbal is also an expert in general orthopaedic trauma and has specialist interests in lower limb complex periarticular trauma.
