Mr Brian Scott has been a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon at Leeds General Infirmary since 1996. He is Fellowship trained in both general children's orthopaedics and limb reconstruction. His main interests are in hip and foot disorders including hip dislocation and club foot. Mr Scott performs surgery for cerebral palsy including muscle and tendon surgery as well as bone and joint surgery. Mr Scott has a broad experience of the generality of children's orthopaedic disorders which includes trauma related problems.
Part of Mr Scott's practice involves assessment and simple reassurance in a wide variety of situations of concern.
Mr Scott also teaches trainee surgeons and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Leeds University and an examiner at the Royal College of Surgeons.
