Mr Ashraf Fahmy is a British and European Board-certified Urologist, and is currently a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Warwick Hospital  and the Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital.

After graduating with honours from Alexandria University and completing his urological training in Egypt to become a fully certified urologist in 1992, he then moved to the UK and underwent higher specialist urological training. He has accumulated extensive expertise in general urology, renal tract stones, female urology, andrology and sexual dysfunction. He has been involved in the teaching and training of medical students, junior doctors, nurses and urological trainees on both formal and informal basis.

He is an honorary member of Warwick Medical School faculty. He has obtained a postgraduate certificate in medical education from Keele University and became a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
