About
With almost 27 years of surgical training and practise and thousands of successful operations under his belt, Mr. Bohra has an experience of a vast range of general surgical procedures with special interests in: diagnosis and treatment of abdominal pain and abdominal surgery, Advanced Laparoscopic surgery for all Hernia, Gall Stones, Reflux Problems; Achalasia, Cancers of the stomach and oesophagus, Upper and Lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, Bariatric (Obesity) surgery, Lumps, bumps and other general surgical conditions.
He was an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in the School of Clinical and Experimental Medicine within the College of Medical and Dental Sciences at the University of Birmingham. He is an Examiner and was College Tutor for the Royal College of Surgeons.
He has published in various journals and presented at both national and international forums. He was a member of the NICE Quality Standards Advisory Committee and a National PEER Reviewer for Upper GI Cancer services. He is a Senior Clinical Examiner and Teacher. He was part of the specially invited All Party Parliamentary Group for reception at The House of Commons.
Married and a father of 2 children, Mr Bohra is a cricket and football
fan. He has multilingual fluency in 5 languages.
