Dr Robinson is a consultant haematologist with a specialist interest in haematological malignancies and stem cell transplantation. He qualified from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in 1992, with distinctions in Medicine, Surgery and Pathology. He trained in haematology at University College Hospital London and completed a PhD at Imperial College London. He has worked in Bristol as a consultant haematologist since 2002. Dr Robinson has an active research program in stem cell transplantation and lectures internationally on the subject.

Dr Robinson has an active research program investigating the role of stem cell transplantation in the management of patients with haematological malignancies.He is the Scientific secretary Of The Lymphoma Working Party Of the EBMT and is responsible for managing 30 on-going studies.
