Mr Rob Walters is a Consultant Ophthalmologist, who runs private eye clinics at The Cardiff Bay Hospital.
Before relocating to South Wales, Rob qualified in London, UK in 1982, and carried out his ophthalmic training at St Thomas' Hospital, London, Southampton Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. Mr Walters was appointed as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the University Hospital of Wales in 1992 and was Clinical Director of the Cardiff Eye Unit, between 1994 and 1998. He has been an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists since 1995, and also Regional Advisor since 2001.
Rob practices general ophthalmology with particular interests in squints, neuro-ophthalmology, and botulinum toxin treatment.
