Dr Reed qualified from Southampton Medical School in 1995. Having worked as a junior doctor in Cheltenham, he returned to Southampton to undertake specialist Oncology training.
He has also gained experience from working in New Zealand, Belize and Australia, where he undertook a Radiation Oncology fellowship at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute.
Outside of clinical work, Dr Reed has a strong interest in teaching and medical education.
