Dr Liz Russell qualified in 1983 from Guy's Hospital Medical School and undertook postgraduate training in Psychiatry and General Practice, and then worked for just over 20 years as a part-time General Practitioner while bringing up four children. She returned to practice psychiatry in 2009 working mainly in a community mental health team.
She tailors her management to the needs of each individual patient incorporating medication, psycho-education, counselling and the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy.
