Dr Taylor began her training in general practice initially before completing paediatric training in the Hammersmith Hospital and Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital. She spent two years as a research fellow at the Hammersmith Hospital in neuromuscular research.
She was appointed as a General Paediatrician in 2003 and provides inpatient and outpatient general paediatric care in North London. She is clinical lead for epilepsy and neurology. Dr Taylor also contributes to the local Child Development Team, where she developed the local autism and complex care neurodisability services.
More recently she introduced a Paediatric Early Warning System aimed at the early identification of sick children presenting to the Trust. She has broad general paediatric and developmental experience believing that holistic care for children is essential.
