After radiology training at King’s College Hospital, Guys and St Thomas Hospital and the Royal Marsden Hospital, Ashley Shaw was appointed Consultant Radiologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in 2004. He became the CT department lead in 2005, overseeing the rapid growth of the department.
Ashley has a major interest in oncological, transplantation and abdominal imaging, working with colleagues in various specialties on a daily basis and contributing to multi-disciplinary team meetings. He was the deputy editor of iRefer, the Royal College of Radiology imaging guidelines. In addition, he performs over 200 CT and ultrasound guided biopsies per year.
In 2012, Ashley was appointed co-divisional director for investigative sciences at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
