Dr Johnson is a senior Consultant in Endocrinlogy and Diabetes and has been practising at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust since 1996. He has a busy clinical life as a specialist in Endocrinology and Diabetes in Southmead where he cares for people with a wide range of problems including pituitary, adrenal, thyroid and parathyroid disease, as well as diabetes (both Type 1 and Type 2) and obesity. He leads a joint parathyroid, thyroid and endocrine clinic at Southmead Hospital with Mr Justin Morgan, the endocrine surgeon. He also has a specialist interest in the care of women with thyroid and endocrine disorders and diabetes pre, during and post pregnancy and run the antenatal medical clinic at Southmead Hospital.
