Hello, my name is Ethan. I am new here to Nuffield Health. I studied for 3 years at Yeovil College doing Level 2 Fitness Instructing, Level 3 Personal Training and Level 4 Strength and Conditioning. I enjoy guiding people to reach and smash their goals and to help them become the best they can be. 

I have always enjoyed playing a variety of sports but I happened to play rugby for a few years starting from secondary school up until college. Playing these sports has encouraged me to train for the specific sport which made me notice all the benefits and improvements it makes on performances. I know how good training can make you feel, which has made me more passionate to motivate others and to improve your performance too.

Hi I’m Rob and I’m one of the personal trainers here at Nuffield Yeovil. I love nothing more than helping clients smash their goals! Whether that’s to lose 2 stone for a holiday, increase power output for the rugby pitch or to improve body function through functional strength and mobility work to make everyday life that little bit easier. I love all sports, rugby being the favourite.
Through playing rugby, I’ve had to take my health and fitness pretty seriously through regular weight training and pushing my CV system to the limit. Rugby has also taught me a lot about injury prevention and rehab, which is one of my specialised areas, along with Strength and Conditioning and body transformation. If you’re interested in booking in a programme or a session or have any questions at all, I’m more than happy to help!

Hi there I’m Joe, a Personal trainer and fitness instructor here at Nuffield Yeovil.

I’ve had a passion for Fitness and training for a number of years now that stemmed from playing professional and elite sport abroad in Greece and Denmark.

Having completed my PT Level 3 Qualification last year and going down the route of functional training and sports performance my focus has been expanding my knowledge and experience within the fitness space. Transitioning into personal training has been an exciting pursuit to further help people achieve their goals, no matter how big or small they may be.

How can I help you improve your health?

As a personal trainer, I enjoy coaching a variety of clients whether their goals are sports-specific, injury rehab or general fitness goals I am happy to help with all aspects of fitness. I enjoy a wide variety of training such as Olympic lifting, plyometrics, sports-specific sessions and many more. I have taken part in as many sports as possible such as cross country, track and field, football, rugby, Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu and many more combat sports.

My main goal for any client I have the opportunity to work with is to help you achieve your goals while making sure you enjoy your sessions. In my time at Nuffield I have worked with clients with all different goals, for example, one client of mine had a cycling holiday he wanted to prep for, over the course of our month together he feels his cardio has improved as well as his confidence for this cycle.

How can I help you improve your health?

I am an experienced personal trainer with a lifelong passion for sports and maintaining physical fitness. I found that pursuing a career that allows me to guide individuals towards better health and wellness came naturally to me. I enjoy diversifying my own training regime to ensure continuous engagement and optimal results for my body. I achieve this by doing weight based circuits, functional training, and practice staying flexible.

I am actively pursuing my level four qualification in counselling as I am just as interested in the mental health of others as I am the physical health. My approach not only focuses on physical fitness, but also prioritises the well-being of clients, and encourages effective management of lifestyle barriers.

I enjoy teaching Clients new exercises that might seem daunting, or new ways of training that may be out of their comfort zone.

How can I help you improve your health?

I started gymnastics training at a very young age and have competed regionally up until December 2021. Throughout my years of competing, I gained many achievements including winning the South West championships. Since then I have become level 2 Acrobatic Gymnastics qualified and completed my level 3 Sports Coaching and level 3 Personal Training.

My goal as a personal trainer is to share my knowledge and experience with others through bespoke programming and frequent check-ins to help them to achieve the best version of themselves. My main strengths include Gymnastics, Powerlifting, Olympic Lifting, Strength training and Conditioning.

Fitness has been a lifelong interest for Amanda. She is passionate about producing tailor-made training programmes to meet individual needs that are motivational, rewarding and fun. Her aim is to equip you with the skills, confidence and knowledge you need to reach your health and fitness goals.

How can I help you improve your health?

My name is Chris and I've been a Personal Trainer at Nuffield since 2019. I started training in my early 20s to try and combat my issues with social anxiety. This began with training at home, then eventually I joined a gym and as my mentality improved, I decided I wanted others to experience the same changes that I had. That's when I decided to become a Personal Trainer.

I'm a huge advocate of Bodyweight training and the importance of core strength. I love Calisthenics, Gymnastic strength training and the fun/challenging aspect that they both bring to training. As a Personal Trainer my goal is to show people that they are always capable of doing more than they believe they ever could.
