How can I help you improve your health?

I'm a Level 3 Personal Trainer, which means I can help with all aspects of training, whether you're looking to tone up, gain muscle or lose weight. I can also provide advice on nutrition which can assist in helping to achieve your goals.


As a Rehabilitation Specialist, I'm qualified to assist in a number of ways in regard to rehabilitation, mainly specialising in joint pain issues and providing a holistic approach.

I can also assist and advise in improving sports performance, making you fitter and stronger to help you perform better in your chosen sport. I have vast experience of aiding muscle growth through diet and training, and I'm experienced in building glute muscles and strength

Helping people reach their goal is my number one priority. With personal training programs and working closely with my clients, I make sure I get the most out of them every training session.  With my wide range of knowledge, I can assure you that you will not only achieve your goal but enjoy the journey along the way.

Alongside my PT qualifications, I am also a qualified swimming instructor. Swimming is a great form of exercise which I think is greatly underused.

How can I help you improve your health?

I’m a level 3 personal trainer here at Nuffield Health Wakefield, my aim is to help as many people as I can by using my knowledge and experience of the gym to help new and old members of the gym achieve their fitness goals whether that be to lose weight, feel confident, gain muscle, improve strength or flexibility. My degree background in Sport and Physical Activity (BSc) and years of personal experience give me a vast knowledge of training which I plan to pass on to my clients.  

I specialise in beginners, strength training, hypertrophy training (building muscle), general injuries or sports-specific injuries. 

If you feel you’re stuck in the same gym routine, not improving, not losing weight, not getting stronger, or needing extra motivation then it may be time to obtain some advice that may give you a different perspective to better your end goal.

"With over 10 years’ experience of training myself and others I am now one of the top Personal Trainers within the Nuffield organization. My aim as a Personal Trainer is to make your fitness training programme varied and effective, and above all for you to enjoy yourself and achieve the results you want.

I love to focus my client’s training not only in a gym environment but also offering outdoor workouts including running and boot camp style training. Training sessions could also include: weight training, cardio, boxing and grit style studio sessions. Intensity will depend on your current fitness levels but from this you will become healthier, fitter and stronger. I also run our recovery plus program which helps clients recover from any injury/surgery they may have had, this could be useful to yourself if you have a specific area that is weak and needs to be focused on within your training program."

Having a vast amount of experience and knowledge I strongly believe I can help anyone achieve their physical and mental goals. I've trained over 40 clients in my time as a PT(age range 18 - 70), creating client specific training programmes for each to make their workouts as efficient, systematic and enjoyable as possible. The process of reaching your goals is just as important as the goal itself!!

I first developed a passion for health and wellbeing through my own personal success of losing over 4 stone, which triggered me to pursue a career in health and fitness to help others do the same. I now have over 16 years’ experience working for both the NHS and private health sector.

As Senior Personal Trainer, I am trained to a high level in helping people with mobility issues and use advanced programming techniques. This means I can help anyone achieve any goal and use movement screening with form correction to help you move not just right, but well. I will create both a safe and effective training programme with a detailed nutrition plan to complement, which will suit your lifestyle and simplify the stress of achieving the results you desire. I also specialise in plant-based sports nutrition.

An area of interest for me is helping women through all stages of life in feeling amazing! So, I have specialised in being able to help women during times of hormonal change, e.g. menopause, ante/post-natal nutrition and fitness.
