How can I help you improve your health?

I believe that regular exercise is important to improve your physical and mental health.

With my experience as a clinician and personal trainer, I understand the challenges of balancing work, family life and the impact of age and disease on your body.

My aim is to support you to develop your goals, understand your challenges and support you through co-creating a personalised programme. Whether you are a beginner, a returner, recovering from an injury or wanting to improve for fitness goals, I can support you through your training path regardless of what stage you are in, in your life.

My qualifications

  • Personal Trainer Level 3 (CIMSPA)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral MBChB, MRCGP

How can I help you improve your health?

I have an all-around approach to programming, not one method fits all. My methods are to understand individual needs creating a comfortable and fun atmosphere while supporting you through your fitness journey to hit your goals.

Being a busy Mum I understand how it can be difficult to find time to train but I believe it is so important to make time for yourself for a happy, healthy mind and body.

How can I help you improve your health?

12 years of service in the British Army has given me a multitude of exercise knowledge, specialising in body weight, callisthenics and functional fitness. So whether you’re looking to improve your sporting ability, strength and endurance, everyday fitness or overall well being, I will get you to where you need to be!

Having suffered from a long term illness and being a medic in the military I understand the complexities that lifelong illnesses can bring to your life. This aids me in understanding my client's needs, whether that be the start of your health and fitness journey, to break out of a stagnant period or wanting to hit specific exercise goals and everything in between.

What’s my why? With my over 10 years experience in the fitness industry I want to help people stop the yo-yo dieting, the dipping in and out of training to build consistency and show you how you can achieve your goals, build your knowledge without the need to sacrifice and restrict yourself on diets. I want to show people that fitness is for everyone. Why? Because I love to see people succeed, when everything clicks and they gain that spark from building their confidence, strength and knowledge. With a strength and nutrition background, whether your goal is fat loss or improving strength or both I have the knowledge and passion to help you succeed and achieve the outcome you have always wanted.

I have been with Nuffield Health since 2016 and work both as a Personal Trainer and as a Rehabilitation Specialist for people with Long Covid. 

My background in fitness is quite varied, I have been a Kickboxing instructor and a Roller Derby coach (if you don’t know what roller derby is imagine rugby on roller skates but with no ball).  

I believe exercise is vital to your overall wellbeing (physical and mental) and I’m all about happiness as the end goal, whether that be getting your body stronger and more resilient or just releasing some endorphins by getting a sweat on.

With my diverse academic background and a previous internship in strength and conditioning, it is my mission to Improve your confidence and beliefs so that you feel positive about your health. I aim to give you the correct exercises and strategies to achieve your goals and overcome previous setbacks from injuries or lack of motivation. My philosophy is based on the habit theory that small changes done consistently start to promote positive changes in your health and fitness.

  • Masters in Sports Rehab (MSC)
