How can I help you improve your health?

Wanting to improve your health needs to connect to how you are going to change your behaviours, thoughts and even mind-set. I can help by identifying and prioritising the necessary changes needed. Then we will add in personalised supports and accountability methods.

If you are new to strength training, we will start with a simple and effective programme that you will feel confident to complete on your own. If you are more experienced, we will tweak your programme to get the most out of your workout. If you are injured, we will start wherever you need to.

I am proud to have a long established client base here at Nuffield. I feel that is the best accolade. I hope it means I am able to provide sessions which are both effective in meeting the individual’s goals and that my chat cant be too terrible. Each client has different expectations of what they would like to achieve from their personal training experience. The first step is determining your health and fitness goals. From there I will help you to prioritize whats most important to maximize results in a way thats realistic and promotes long lasting change.

"As your personal trainer, I want you to get the most out of your training. With a big focus on you feeling both the mental and physical benefits of the gym, alongside increasing your confidence, so that you can lift heavy weights and claim your space in the gym. I love to push my clients that little bit extra whilst providing reassurance on their form and technique. I will be providing you a structured workout plan personalised for you and your goals. This, alongside weekly check ins will work towards ensuring that you are improving each week."

I will be here to hold you accountable and give you the tools and confidence to use in your workouts. With my Level 4 qualification in nutrition coaching I can also help you understand how to fuel your body effectively around your workout and make smarter choices. I've also taken part in various sports at different levels, so I understand different goals and tailoring them specific to you.

I offer comprehensive functional training for strength training and weight loss or management. I am also a skilled boxer, specialising in Muay Thai! Not only does Muay Thai burn calories, but it also strengthens your heart, lungs, and core as well as cross body conditioning. If you find cardio ‘dreadful’, let’s set up a session to try out Muay Thai.

I believe that training is key for performance development in our outdoor and everyday lives. By increasing our strength and endurance capacity in the gym, we can ensure we have the ability to perform and excel outside of it. Weather that's while walking the dog, playing team sports or climbing mountains. 

My key passions are rock climbing and cycling. With over 8 years working in the cycling industry, there is not much about cycling that I have yet to learn. I've had the privilege of working with top level athletes and enthusiastic amateurs alike.

Working with me as your personal trainer, you will work with a knowledgeable coach that will meet you where you're at to build a structured, progressive training plan that will get you moving in the right direction towards your fitness goals.
