About
Mrs Bathula is a Gynecological surgeon who specialises in managing menstrual problems, prolapse, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, menopause and abnormal smears. She performs hysteroscopy, endometrial ablations, laparoscopic treatment for endometriosis and chronic pelvis pain and abdominal & vaginal hysterectomies.
Mrs Bathula qualified from one of the premier medical institutes of India, JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research) Pondicherry, South India. She completed her early years of training in India then continued in West midlands and did her specialist training in West midlands and Wessex deanery.
Her special interests are Colposcopy (BSCCP accredited Colposcopist), Outpatient Hysteroscopy, Urogynaecology (member of BSUG) and minimal access surgery. She is keen to see mums who have had traumatic deliveries and also women who feel that child birth has scarred them.
Mrs Bathula is trained in looking after patients with adolescent gynaecology problems including menstrual irregularities.
