About
Mr Hunt trained in the Southwest in all aspects of general surgery before specialising in breast surgery. He has trained in all aspects of breast surgery including techniques for breast conservation and breast reconstruction where appropriate using either implants of autologous techniques (using the patient’s own tissue) also undertakes contralateral surgery for symmetrisation after breast cancer surgery.
He worked as consultant breast surgeon to the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust prior to his appointment in Cheltenham.

Mr Hunt has published on the management of nipple discharge and related disorders, and management of patients who have been recalled from the NHS breast screening programme. He has also published work on the management of indeterminate (non-diagnostic) biopsies.
