About
Following his medical and post graduate training in India, Mr Jain undertook his further surgical training in London and the North–East. He completed his fellowship in Bariatric surgery at St George’s hospital, London and Oesophago-gastric cancer surgery at the Royal Surrey Hospital, Guildford.
Mr Jain specialist interest includes:
- Minimally Invasive and advanced laparoscopic general and Upper GI surgery
- Hernia surgery (Open and laparoscopic- Inguinal, umbilical, Ventral, Incisional hernia repair)
- Gall stones disease
- Anti-reflux surgery (Hiatus hernia/ paraoesophageal hernia repair, Fundoplication)

Mr Jain enjoys teaching and is a trainer for the surgical trainees on the West Midlands surgical rotation and is also an honorary surgical lecturer at Keele University.
