About
Mr Mrinal Saharay is a a Consultant General Surgeon at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital. He has extensive training in endocrine and colorectal surgery. His endocrine experience covers all thyroid and parathyroid procedures, including those for cancers. In addition, he performs a wide range of colonic operations including the latest haemorrhoid operation. ( PPH - Procedure for Prolapse and Haemorrhoids).
Mr Saharay’s basic medical training was carried out in India. He completed his higher surgical training in the North East Thames area. During his research and completion of his PhD in surgery, he presented at numerous international conferences. As clinical lead for thyroid surgery at Queens Hospital, Romford, and network lead for the North East Thames Cancer Network, he has been responsible for introducing improvements to the service and advancing the sub-specialty considerably. He has worked closely with the endocrinology department at Queens, undertaking joint clinics to provide optimum care. Mr Saharay is a member of The British Association of Endocrine Surgeons and The British Association of Colorectal Surgeons, taking an active part in their annual conferences.
