About
Mr George Murty is a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a busy private practice at Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital. Mr Murty has over 25 years experience in all aspects of ENT surgery in leading centres throughout the UK and on scholarship to America and Holland. He has lectured worldwide and has written more than 140 peer reviewed publications nationally and internationally. He has a higher medical degree in diseases of the throat and is one of very few specialists with fellowships in surgery from colleges on both sides of the Atlantic.
A past council member of the Royal Society of Medicine and past secretary of the Otorhinological Research Society of Great Britian, he was awarded the prestigious Certificate of Honor for 'Contributions to the Speciality' by the American College of Surgeons in 2007.
Mr Murty sees patients for all areas of ENT and specialises in nose and sinus disease, children's surgery, swallowing and voice disorders, coughs, nasal allergies and nasal obstruction.
