About
Mr Fook Chang Lam graduated in medicine among the top of his class with honours and several prizes from the University of Glasgow. Prior to specialising in ophthalmology, Mr Lam also completed a Medical Rotation where he obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians. His formal Basic Specialist Training and Higher Specialist Training in Ophthalmology were completed in Glasgow.
Mr Lam has had extensive super specialist training though 4 fellowships including an Anterior Segment Fellowship at the Sussex Eye Hospital specialising in artificial corneas, a Glaucoma Fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital, and a Cornea and a Keratorefractive Surgery Fellowship at Queen Victoria Hospital. After winning a scholarship from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, he completed a further Fellowship in Advanced Corneal Surgery and Eye Banking in the Netherlands Institute for Innovative Ocular Surgery in Rotterdam.
Mr Lam's extensive subspecialist training and surgical experience allows him to provide his patients with the full range of treatment options using the latest surgical techniques and technological advances. His particular clinical interests include safe cataract surgery with advanced premium lenses, modern treatments for corneal conditions, and glaucoma treatments.
