About
Mr Howe is an established consultant ENT / Head and Neck Surgeon with an interest in thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
Mr Howe trained at Birmingham University Medical School. Following successful specialist training in the UK, he completed the prestigious Head and Neck fellowship in Adelaide South Australia in 2010. On return to the UK in 2010 he commenced his consultant practice, both in Birmingham and later Coventry.
He has developed a successful practice in minimal access surgery particularly with regard to parathyroid surgery minimising visible scars.
Mr Howe has an interest in endoscopic sinus surgery including balloon sinuplasty and frontal sinus surgery. He also collaborates with neurosurgical colleagues to provide an endoscopic pituitary service.
In 2014 Mr Howe, in collaboration with colleagues, introduced a trans-oral robotic service for early stage head an neck cancers which has been successful in minimising the side effects of cancer treatment whilst still effectively removing the cancer.
