About
Dr Todd studied medicine at Sheffield University where he graduated in 1992. He undertook Haematology training in Cambridge and London where he developed a particular interest in haematological cancer. He also undertook research at the internationally reknown Haematological Malignancy Diagnostic Service in Leeds after winning a grant from the British Society for Haematology and has recently been awarded a Diploma in Palliative Medicine from the University Of Cardiff.

Dr Todd has undertaken research into the processes causing cancer, the impact of chemotherapy doses on treatment outcomes and the psychology of patients undergoing chemotherapy. He is involved in national treatment trials for haematological cancers including, currently, follicular lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia.
