Dr Shaw trained at Cambridge University and graduated in 1995. He completed his training in Respiratory medicine on the Wessex registrar rotation and an MD in Asthma at the university of Southampton. He was appointed as a consultant at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in 2005.
