About
Dr Srinivas (Sri) Gada has been a Consultant Paediatrician with expertise in Childhood Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Paediatric Neurodisability for 14 years. He specialises in assessment and management of children with ASD/Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Developmental Delay, Speech and Language Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Follow Up of Ex-Premature Children, Emotional & Behavioural Disorders, Special Educational Needs/School difficulties, Learning Disability and Headaches.
Dr Sri Gada has been a Consultant Community Paediatrician at Oxford University Hospitals NHSFT, for nearly 14 years. He has worked in the NHS, for nearly 25 years. He has been a Hon Senior Clinical Lecturer at University of Oxford since 2007. He has served in NHS in other roles such as Consultant Appraiser, Clinical Governance Lead, Educational Supervisor and Clinical Supervisor for 15 years.
Sri graduated in India in 1992, scoring the highest marks in the 2nd year and Final Year of Medicine (Hons) at his University.
Previously he worked at Leicester Royal Infirmary and at Royal London Hospital where he was training to be a Paediatric Intensivist. During his Specialist Training, one of his children was diagnosed with a Disability. This personal experience stimulated his interest in Childhood Neurodisability. Subsequently he went on to receive training in Child Neuro-developmental disorders at Royal Free Hospital in London. He undertook Diploma Studies in Paediatric Neurodisability from Sheffield.
Dr Sri takes an active interest in teaching and training of undergraduates and postgraduates. He has been a Course Director for Child Development courses in Oxford, London and Abroad. He is the Editor of Oxford Specialist Handbook in Community Paediatrics. This handbook with emphasis on Neurodevelopment and Neurodisability, is widely used by doctors in UK, Europe and is sold worldwide. He is currently working on the 2nd edition of this book, published by Oxford University Press. He is also working on a book specifically for parents/carers of a child with disability.

Sri takes an interest in Running and Fitness. He has raised over £7000, over the past 7 years for various child disability charities by running London Marathon and over 15 Half Marathons.

Assessment, Evaluation and Enablement of Children with Special Needs and Disability, by providing Information, Support and Advice. Sri aspires to set up a social enterprise to serve children with special needs both in UK and Abroad.
