Dr Srivastava trained in Nephrology at Barts and The London and then in Newcastle upon Tyne. He completed his PhD in Newcastle University and remains active in research. He runs the inherited kidney disease and stone disease clinic in his NHS practice. He also manages the pre-dialysis patient group in his renal unit. He is one of four interventional nephrologists at the Sunderland Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology department.
He
started the UK’s only postgraduate course in interventional nephrology at
Newcastle University and South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS foundation trust.
He has extensive experience in dealing with
all aspects of kidney diseases.
