Dr Ram is a general adult psychiatrist specialising in treating patients with the following conditions:
Stress disorders - acute stress reaction, adjustment disorder with depressive symptoms, and posttraumatic stress disorder.
Anxiety disorders - panic attacks, social phobia, generalised anxiety disorder and agoraphobia.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Depressive illness.
Bipolar affective disorder (manic depressive illness).
Psychosis and other related disorders - Schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, drug induced psychosis, stress induced psychosis, and psychotic depression.
Personality disorders - emotionally unstable personality (borderline personality) disorder.
Sleep and anger problems.
Special interests
Special interest in diagnosis and management of OCD and other anxiety disorders including social anxiety/social phobia, PTSD, generalised anxiety disorder, panic attacks.
