About
Dr Moore is a Consultant Rheumatologist in Derriford Hospital, Plymouth. Before taking up his consultant post in 2012 he spent 18 months in Melbourne, Australia as a research fellow. There he expanded upon his general rheumatology experience and worked on research into systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). Prior to that he trained in rheumatology in Northern Ireland during which time he read a Masters degree in rheumatology at Oxford University.
Dr Moore’s experience and training is reflected in his broad interest in general rheumatology including degenerative joint disease (osteoarthritis), inflammatory arthritis (including rheumatoid arthritis), soft tissue rheumatism, osteoporosis, gout and the connective tissue diseases (such as SLE and systemic sclerosis).
