About

Dr Harjinder Gill graduated in 1999 from University College London. Following that she promptly made the decision to specialise in paediatrics and completed some of her training in Bristol and the South West. Dr Gill then moved to Oxfordshire in 2010 and completed her specialist training in Community Child Health and has been a Consultant Community Paediatrician since 2014.

Dr Gill works for Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and also holds an honorary contract with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust where she is the lead paediatrician within the recently developed Oxfordshire CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Conditions (NDC) Pathway.

Dr Gill specialises in the assessment, diagnosis and support of children from ages 0 – 18 years with neuro-disability or developmental delays and neurodevelopmental conditions like autism and ADHD. Dr Gill also has clinical expertise in cerebral palsy, learning disability and social and emotional behavioural difficulties and children’s safeguarding and is the lead doctor for a local special school.

Since her consultant appointment with Oxfordshire CAMHS, Dr Gill has had an active role in the development of NHS autism diagnostic services for children ages 5 – 18 years. More recently this multidisciplinary service has evolved into the Neurodevelopmental Conditions Pathway for the assessment and diagnosis of autism and ADHD within the school age population in the county.

Due to current capacity issues, Dr Gill is temporarily unable to take on new patients.
