Dr Patel studied medicine at St George’s Hospital Medical School, London.
He completed his post graduate medical training in Anaesthetics within the St. George’s School of Anaesthesia and undertook additional Intensive Care Medicine training at major UK centres including Addenbrooke’s, Hammersmith Hospital, St George’s Hospital, Atkinson Morley and Royal Brompton Hospitals. He was appointed as a Consultant Anaesthetist and Intensivist at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in 2008. Dr Patel provides anaesthetic services across a wide range of surgical specialities and also works as a Consultant Intensivist.
