About
Dr Menon qualified in 1992 and then obtained a post graduate degree MD in Medicine from the University of Delhi.
He completed his specialist training in Rheumatology in the West Midlands Deanery and was appointed as a Consultant at the Haywood Hospital in 2009.
He leads the nationally acclaimed musculoskeletal service in Stoke on Trent and enjoys working as part of the renowned multidisciplinary team at the Haywood Hospital. He has a keen interest in IT and is actively involved in developing the use of IT to improve the delivery of clinical services at the Haywood hospital.

Research
Actively involved with on-going research projects in the rheumatology and MIS services. Principal investigator in a ARUK supported multicentre clinical trial evaluating the use of Hydroxychloroquine as disease modifying in patients with hand osteoarthritis. Sub investigator in various clinical trials in rheumatology. I support Keele University to successfully recruit patients from the MIS service I lead.
