Lacrimal disorders
Lacrimal glands are the glands in the corners of your eyes that produce tears. These can become blocked, stop producing tears, or become inflamed.
Tears in your eyes are produced by your lacrimal glands near the outer corners of your eyes. Lacrimal disorders include:
- Not enough tear production (dry eyes)
- Reduced tear drainage (blocked tear ducts)
- Infections or irritations around the eyes or eyelids
