Bacteria (called plaque) can build up on the surface of your teeth. Daily brushing and flossing should remove this build up.

Left untreated, bleeding gums can become swollen and sore causing bad breath and discomfort when you are eating. Infections such as abscesses can be very painful and may require tooth extraction.

Keep your teeth and gums healthy by regular brushing and flossing. Avoid sugary food and drinks and have regular dental check-ups and cleaning.
