Who is eligible for the £100 rewards?

The offer is available to all new Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing members from 1st September 2011. The offer is not available to existing members unless they are transferring from a monthly membership to one with a 12 month commitment. The offer may also be restricted to certain membership types. This offer is not available on Pru Health memberships.

How do I qualify?

All new members are offered a free Health MOT. The Health MOT is a comprehensive 12-point health check that measures;

  • Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Resting Heart Rate
  • Cholesterol
  • Aerobic Fitness
  • Blood Pressure
  • Blood sugar Levels
  • Plus the opportunity to discuss hydration, alcohol intake, sleep quality and any existing injuries

As part of our Health MOT we’ll test you using ‘healthy’ score levels, and the results of your Health MOT will help to generate a personalised programme that will assist you in improving your health & fitness.

After 3 months you are eligible for another Health MOT. To qualify for the £100 reward, you simply have to improve or maintain your fitness. This is gauged from the results of your Health MOTs. 

To take part in the rewards scheme, members' first Health MOT must be completed within 2 months of joining. The second Health MOT must be taken at least 3 but no more than 4 calendar months after the first. Both Health MOTs need to be taken within 6 months of joining.  

Members need to arrange their own health MOTs.

How is the £100 calculated?

£100 is based on cost of 1 x month’s membership at your standard monthly rate, 1 x personal training session and 6 x guest passes. The rewards offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and rewards cannot be changed.

Rewards pack will be sent out by Royal Mail the month following the second Health MOT. The month’s membership will be credited 6 months after the second health MOT.

Rewards are subject to availability and may vary. Nuffield Health reserves the right to offer alternative rewards of equal value if the rewards stated aren’t available. Vouchers that are lost or mislaid will not be reissued.

What if my health doesn’t improve?

We’re so confident that you will improve your health and fitness, we’ll let you leave with no obligation if you don’t improve.

To qualify for the no obligation policy you must have your first Health MOT within 2 months of joining. The second Health MOT must be taken at least 3 but no more than 4 calendar months after the first. Both Health MOTs need to be taken within 6 months of joining.  

You must also meet the following criteria:

  1. Based on the results of your Health MOTs you didn’t improve or maintain your health score or at least two individual tests in the Health MOT.
  2. You must have visited the Centre an average of 3 times per week or at least 28 times between your first and second Health MOT.  This will be verified against swipe data. Swipes must be on separate days, multiple daily swipes will not count towards total.
  3.  You must give written confirmation that you wish to cancel to the General Manager of your Centre within 28 days of your second Health MOT.
What are the free day pass terms and conditions?

Treatments, health MOT, physiotherapist, session with senior wellbeing advisor and paid-for classes are not included with the free pass.
Pass holders must call their local centre to book an appointment before visiting the centre. Pass holders must bring photo identification to their appointment.
Failure to book an appointment in advance may result in entry to the centre being refused. Nuffield Health reserves the right to refuse entry.

Passes included in the rewards programme must be redeemed by the expiry date printed. No cash alternatives available. Redeemer must accompany the Nuffield Health member. Only one pass is redeemable per person.

How have you calculated 7 out of 10 members have got healthier?

Statement based on a sample of 2,909 members who had two Health MOTs. 73% of these members improved their aerobic fitness, 71% of these members increased their health score.

Competition closes midnight on 12th February 2012. Winners will be notified by phone by Wednesday 15th February.  Winners drawn at random. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative available.
