Children's services at Leicester Nuffield HealthWe can offer a consultant expert for most childhood conditions. All you need is a referral letter from your GP. You can use your insurance or just pay as you go.

Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital is one of the very few private hospitals in the Midlands with a large team of consultants and specialised children’s nurses that can see children of any age, for a variety of conditions. Children are referred to us from all over the country.

Children from 0-1 year can be seen in our outpatients department and children 1 year+ as inpatients. If your child needs to stay overnight, our consultant paediatrician Dr Sanjiv Nichani (who holds an advanced paediatric life support qualification) stays overnight as well giving you the reassurance you need that your child is in the best possible hands.

All our rooms are en-suite and we have a large well equipped play room, a special children’s menu and the facilities for parents to stay overnight. Each children’s room is designed with home comforts in mind to make your child’s stay as comfortable as possible.

It can be a worrying time when you child isn’t well. We understand that sometimes you don’t want to wait for a diagnosis or perhaps you just want a second opinion.

Children are referred to us from all over the country and we see over 1000 children a year from Leicestershire, Kettering, Northampton, Nuneaton, Coventry, Boston, Lincolnshire, Derby and Nottingham.
