Ms Mary O'Brien

Mary O’Brien qualified in 1994 from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals, London. She gained significant experience in a wide range of surgical fields before undergoing higher specialist training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. She has specific expertise in a wide range of complex reconstructive and aesthetic procedures. She also has an extensive background of involvement in research and postgraduate teaching, on both national and international levels.

Following a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby, she was appointed as a Consultant Plastic & Hand Surgeon in 2008. She also has a qualification in Medical Law and has recently published her first book Plastic & Hand Surgery - Classifications and Definitions in Clinical Practice.

She is dedicated to continuing to provide excellence in every area of patient care and is committed to the use of highly skilled techniques and procedures for the benefit of her patients.
