Mr Reza Kalbassi

Mr Kalbassi is a consultant Colorectal and Laparoscopic Surgeon at Nuffield hospital with special interest in Laparoscopic surgery, functional bowel disease and pelvic floor dysfunction.

He did his specialist surgical training in Ireland/ United Kingdom. He is accredited in Laparoscopic surgery following his national UK Laparoscopic colorectal surgery fellowship in Wales and is one of the UK national trainers in this field. He is also accredited in endoscopy / colonoscopy.

He offers a range of Laparoscopic General surgery services including hernia repair and Cholecystectomy as well as Laparoscopic / specialist colorectal surgery and upper/ lower GI endoscopy.

• Biological Markers/ Hormonal receptor expression in cancer

 Part of this work carried out in relation to research project for Master’s degree thesis: "Implication of Enhanced recovery Programme and Laparoscopic Surgery on outcome in patients with Colorectal cancer".
