Profile:

Myra worked as a staff nurse within the Nuffield Hospital for many years before becoming interested in counselling. She then embarked on a counselling career to enable her to communicate better with patients, during which she completed a four year course at Strathclyde University, qualifying in the year 2000.

As a counsellor at Nuffield, Myra works within the ACS department, where she offers a professional and open service to all patients who attend the hospital, wishing to undertake fertility treatment.

The service provided is totally confidential. Some people may need to see Myra regularly, some just dip in and out as of when they need the support; some come on there own, or as a couple. However you decide on the level of support you think you need and Myra will tailor a programme to meet your requirements, ensuring that you are always treated as an individual.

Myra has been married for 30 years and has three sons. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  Her hobbies include going to the theatre, pilates and learning Italian.
