Dr Conway has a First Class Honours BA in English Studies and Humanities from the Open University and a Master of Letters with distinction in English Language and Linguistics from Glasgow University.
His MD thesis was on an endocrinology project, namely the Adrenal Secretion of Progestogens and he has had several published papers on fertility topics. Dr Conway was formerly Lead Clinician for Infertility Services in Lanarkshire which were centralised under his care at Monklands Hospital. He is recognised as a Mentor for training of post graduates in the Management of the Infertile Couple by the British Fertility Society and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Dr Conway is the person responsible to the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) for the Infertility Services at Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital. All in all, he has extensive experience in infertility and in general gynaecology.

Personal interests:
David is the proud father of seven grown up children and three grand children, and in his spare time his main hobby is genealogy. In recent times he has had seven papers on this subject published by a national journal.
