Nuffield Health Hospitals operates a flexible payment policy, which allows you to pay in a number of ways and assists you in all aspects of the financial side of your treatment.
If you are paying for your procedure with medical insurance, then you need to liaise closely with your insurance provider throughout the course of your treatment. You should be aware of the Terms and Conditions of your policy and let us know if there are any limitations applicable to your policy.
When you attend the hospital for treatment please ensure you bring the following;
• Medical Insurance Registration documents
• Completed claim form/proof of pre-authorisation by Medical Insurer.
We have an arrangement with many insurance companies which enables us to send your invoice to them electronically.
It may suit you to pay for your own treatment if you don’t have private medical insurance or if your policy doesn’t cover the treatment you need.
We can give you a guaranteed price tailored to your individual treatment that includes all hospital costs, your Consultant’s fee and your anaesthetist fee, if applicable. This gives you peace of mind and ensures that your price will not change, no matter how complex your procedure.
Your Consultant fee for your operation is included in the guaranteed price but please be aware that there is a hospital charge for any procedures and tests undertaken in the Outpatient consulting room. Outpatient and Follow-up Consultant fees are a separate cost to tests and treatments, and will be forwarded separately by your Consultant.

Subject to acceptance you can borrow the amount needed to meet the cost of your treatment and take the worry away of waiting and saving for treatment.

NHS patients receiving treatment at a Nuffield Hospital can expect the same exacting standards of personal service and professional care as our fee-paying guests.
As a patient referred to us through the NHS, you will not be charged for the treatment you receive in Nuffield Health Hospitals, though you will be charged for any extras such as telephone calls, newspapers and magazines and visitors meals.
