Experience

Mr Venkateswaran specialises in sports injuries of the shoulder, elbow and limb trauma.

He offers a one-stop clinic for the patient with ultrasound as part of the diagnostic work up.

Mr Venkateswaran also specialises in the treatment of complex shoulder problems, impingement, rotator cuff tears, arthritis, cuff tear arthropathy, acromioclavicular joint injuries, shoulder dislocations, frozen shoulders, joint replacement of the shoulder and elbow.

Research

Mr Venkateswaran has research interests in arthroscopic shoulder surgery, rotator cuff disease, shoulder pain and instability. He has co-authored chapters in books on shoulder surgery and has written several publications and presentations on upper limb and general trauma.

Mr Venkateswaran also gets involved in education and has orgnaised courses such as: TheYorkshire Shoulder Course, and The Anatomy Course for Orthopaedic Surgeons.
