Mr Thompson was appointed as a Consultant Ear Nose and Throat surgeon at Shrewsbury and Telford NHS trust in 2002. He has developed a wide practice based predominantly in head and neck surgery
He has a special interest in the management of laryngeal disorders including hoarse voice, management of the professional voice and laryngopharyngeal reflux. He also has a special interest in thyroid surgery.
