Experience
Dr Kishor Tewary is a consultant paediatrician with special interest in paediatric nephrology. He graduated in 1987 from India where he also worked as a paediatrician and paediatric nephrologist. He joined the NHS in 1997 as an overseas trainee and obtained further experience in general paediatrics, tertiary neonates and paediatric nephrology at various hospitals including University Hospital of Wales and Bristol Childrens Hospital. Dr Tewary is currently working as a consultant at Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust where in addition to being lead for neonatal care, he also advises on all kidney related problems.
Dr Tewary has been running specialist clinics for UTI/Kidney & Bladder disorders for the last few years, initially at Sandwell Hospital and now at Stafford. This is a unique service available at only a few other hospitals in the region. His noteworthy presentation in the field include a paper on 'UTI management in children' in 'International Congress of Paediatrics' at Athens in 2007
