Experience
Michael Spencer has over thirty years experience as an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon, with more than twenty years as Consultant in Chester. He qualified at Oxford University, where he obtained a First Class Honours degree. His subsequent training was at centres including the Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford, and he was Senior Registrar at St Thomas’ Hospital, London and the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London. In 1985 he was awarded a King’s Fund Travelling Fellowship to Vienna. He is the author of numerous papers on clinical ENT surgery, and is the inventor of the chondroplastic procedure for reconstruction of the nose.
