Experience
Born and educated in the Stoke-on-Trent area Mr Roberts trained in medicine in Cambridge and London and in Plastic Surgery at internationally recognised centres of expertise in London, Stoke Mandeville and Glasgow with some of the most respected plastic and aesthetic surgeons in the country. He obtained a Master of Surgery degree in plastic surgery from the University of London based on research at the Charing Cross and Westmister Medical School where he was a lecturer. In 1992 he returned to North Staffordshire as Consultant Plastic Surgeon within the NHS.
Since 1992 Mr Roberts has provided a cosmetic surgery practice at the Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital and has been instrumental in the establishment and development of a Cosmetic surgery service at the Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital which now provides a team of four nationally accredited consultants who work closely together.
Mr Roberts considerable cosmetic surgery practice and his dedication to an ethical and responsible approach, with the patients interest paramount, has been recognised by the Parliamentary Information Office to whom he is a national expert adviser on ethical cosmetic surgery.
